world made by your mind

An idea that that has constantly bugged me....How the world as I see it is actually a creation and coloured by the limitations of my (limited) mind. The world is after all a perception..All eastern philosophies talk about the concept of maya and that the world is an illusion created by your mind. Quantum physicists have now shown that that may be true after all ( read Amit Goswami..one of the pioneers of quantum physics on that)

So the world is not what you think because it is created and perceived by your mind. Once you detach from your mind maybe one will realise that the voice in your mind is not you..You are the observer of that voice... The beginning of true AWARENESS????
